| The Oaks is a wonderful community located around the Chapel Hill Country Club which is the only member-owned Private Club in Chapel Hill. The original Club was founded in the early 1920's The club consists of an 18-hole golf course which was renovated in 1999, 14 Tennis courts, 10 that are har-tru (soft) courts and 4 hard surface, an olympic size swimming pool which was renovated in the spring of 2005, and the Clubhouse which includes dining and meeting room facilities, as well as men's and lady's locker rooms. During the past decades many changes have occurred both in the Chapel Hill community and our Club. Silver Creek is an executive home neighborhood located in Chapel Hill. With its close proximity to Durham and Raleigh, residents have easy access to Duke University, The University of North Carolina and Research Triangle Park. The community is also within walking distance of East Chapel Hill High School, and students also attend Rashkis Elementary and Phillips Middle schools in the Chapel Hill-Caraboro City School district. Hope Valley is in the fast-growing southwest Durham area and is Durham's oldest country club community. Homes here date back to the late 1920s and you'll find an eclectic mix of renovated brick ranches to sprawling French country and English Tudor mansions whose values approach $3 million.
